Police Report: CBPD

Police responded to Lower Witmer Park for a suspicious person. They identified the men and found that one of them was wanted in Maryland. He was arraigned as a fugitive and placed in Clearfield County Jail awaiting extradition from Maryland.
Police are requesting that pedestrians use the sidewalks at all times. Police respect those who walk and run to improve their health but it is a safety hazard to use the streets when sidewalks are available. Police have observed people walking on the streets which can cause a traffic hazard, forcing vehicles to enter into other lanes to avoid hitting the pedestrians.
