CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County Solicitor Kim Kesner gave the Clearfield County Commissioners a brief update on the lawsuit involving Derek Walker and Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr.
Walker filed suit against Shaw last week. Walker claims that Shaw violated his constitutional rights under the civil rights law.
Kesner said that county’s coverage picked up the case for Shaw and that the case has been assigned to the firm of Meyer and Darough.
Kesner added that he believes a motion to dismiss will soon be filed on Shaw’s behalf.
