DUBOIS – The office of state Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk) will hold an energy expo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 19 at the DuBois Mall, 5522 Shaffer Road, DuBois.
“Our event will offer consumers suggestions on ways to reduce their energy bills,” Gabler said. “We’re all searching for opportunities to cut down on expenses, especially in these difficult economic times, and we hope to offer some ideas on places where residents can cut costs.”
Vendors planning to attend will have demonstrations and information regarding more efficient water use, energy savings through “green” building construction, and more cost-conscious heating and air conditioning practices.
“Representatives from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, United Electric Cooperative and
Pennsylvania Electric Company (Penelec) will also be on hand to discuss ways to save on your electric bill,” added Gabler.
