Theresa J. Spadaro, 82, formerly of DuBois, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Jan. 13, 1934 in Walston, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Bianco) Parise.
On Feb. 12, 1955 in Walston, Pa., she married Eugene B. Spadaro. He preceded her in death May 20, 2006.
She worked in the kitchen at DuBois Central Catholic. She was an avid walker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by five children, Eugene B. Spadaro Jr. and his wife, Colleen of Scottdale, Pa.; John Spadaro of Houston, Texas; and Gary Spadaro, Ron Spadaro and his wife, Megan and Cathy Anderson, all of DuBois.
She is also survived by one sister, Annabelle Behrendt of Punxsutawney; a brother, Samuel Parise and his wife, Carol of North Tonawanda, NY; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances McDaniel and Rosalie McCullough and three brothers, Tom, Jim and Anthony Parise.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Friday at the Chapel at Christ the King Manor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the Christ the King Manor Chapel with Msgr. Desmond McGee as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
