OLANTA – Bridge replacement work will close a section of state Route 2022 (O’Shanter Road) in the village of Olanta, starting June 14. The road will be closed at the intersection for SR 453 in Olanta starting at 7 a.m. on Monday. PennDOT expects the closure to be in place for a least a week. A detour using SR’s 453 and 2012 (Turkey Hill Road) will be in effect.
PennDOT Clearfield County Maintenance forces will work to remove the current small bridge and replace it with a box culvert. The bridge spans a tributary of Little Clearfield Creek on SR 2022 in Olanta. All work is weather dependent.
Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits and detour signs and to always buckle up.
PennDOT also reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
