Nancy I. Husted, 86, of West Decatur died Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at UPMC Altoona.
Born July 22, 1930 in Mount Union, she was a daughter of the late Roy A. Evans and Bessie May (Minnick) Evans Stonebraker.
She was a 1947 graduate of Philipsburg High School and had worked at the General Cigar Factory.
She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, West Decatur, and a former member of the church choir. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On Sept. 16, 1949 in Millville, she married Clair “Huck” Husted, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Shirley Coulter and her husband, Patrick of West Decatur; a son-in-law, Mahlon Beals III of West Decatur; a step-sister, June Robbins of Black Moshannon; three grandchildren, Jennifer Bell and her husband, Adam, Matthew Coulter and his wife, Tabitha and Krista Sherwood and her husband, David; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Beals and a brother, Roy A. Evans Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, with Pastor Gary Zarr officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
