Margaret Marlene Bainey, 79, died at home Oct. 28, 2016 following a long illness.
Born Sept. 8, 1937 in Brisbin, she was the daughter of William Hayward and Anna (Amberick) Hayward.
She had celebrated 64 wonderful years of marriage on June 8 to her loving husband, James “Jim” Bainey.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was one of the sweetest, most loving individuals you could ever meet.
She had a positive outlook on life, a great sense of humor, loved sports, especially the Steelers, and just enjoyed life and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Roger and Larry; six sisters, Esther Locke, Doris Hallman, Betty Yarger, Evelyn Lowe, Florence Stine and Mildred Haney; and son-in-law, Gary Lender.
She is survived by husband, Jim and children, Carol (Joanne) Lender and her companion, Sammie Meek of Plant City, Fla., Peggy McClure and her husband, John of Flagstaff, Ariz., James “Jimmy” Bainey and his wife, Wendy of Morrisdale and Kathy Bainey of Loris, SC.
Also surviving are her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
At Mrs. Bainey’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral services.
