Residents of Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township are encouraged to join the group and to invite others. Group members are encouraged to ask questions and to initiate group chats with others.
To begin a group chat with selected members, follow these steps:
- Click “Start Chat” on the right-hand side of the page.
- Then, check the boxes next to the people you want to message. Also, check “Select All” to message the entire group.
Also, in the Facebook group, GANT has created separate polls for Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township residents. Group members are invited to cast their vote in the poll for their municipality.
These polls pose the same question they will cast their vote on, on the May of 2017 election ballot. It reads: ““Shall the municipalities of the Borough of Clearfield and the Second Class Township of Lawrence be consolidated to become the City of Clearfield to be governed under a new home rule charter adopted by the governing bodies of the municipalities?”
