State police at DuBois
- State police reported an incident of DUI/underage drinking that occurred Thursday on Route 322 in Sandy Township. Troopers stopped a Northern Cambria man for several traffic violations and allegedly detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and underage drinking, along with other traffic violations, which are pending blood test results.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sept. 13 on Fowler Hollow Lane in Taylor Township. During the incident, two Port Matilda residents were allegedly engaged in a physical altercation. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Aug. 26 on High Street in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw a rock at the victim’s residence and damaged her siding.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Sept. 7 on East Beaver Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly scratched the hood of the vehicle’s vehicle.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of access device fraud and theft. It remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police responded to the Good Street area to check the welfare of an individual.
- Police were dispatched to a local business on Route 879 and Interstate 80 for a report of a drug violation. Further, a witness told police the manager had a small bag of marijuana, and upon arrival to the scene, they found it on his person. Charges will be filed against him as a result, police said.
