State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Sept. 9 and Friday on the Caledonia Pike in Covington Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access to the victim’s property through a kitchen window and removed numerous cabin/camp items, a Baer crossbow, hunting clothes and a 2005 Kawasaki Mule, which is camouflage in color with a DCNR plate. - State police responded to a motorcycle accident that occurred Friday on Coal Run Road in Decatur Township. Kenneth Showers, 57, of Clearfield was traveling south and too fast to negotiate a left-hand curve; his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a mailbox. It then continued traveling through a grassy area until striking a metal post. Showers sustained injuries and was taken to the Altoona Hospital for treatment. He was cited for the accident, state police said in the report.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday on Wallaceton Road in Morris Township. - State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred Sept. 3 in Philipsburg. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry into the victim’s residence and removed $12. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Saturday on Knobbs Road in Girard Township. - State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Sept. 13 and Saturday on Ames Road in Girard Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry to a camp and removed four small lanterns, a small cooking pot and an antique dinner bell. State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief and theft that occurred sometime between Sept. 15 and Sunday in Warsaw and Polk Township. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged multiple road signs and removed multiple street signs. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness that occurred Friday in the 1200 block of East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, a known 50-year-old man was found lying face down on the sidewalk and allegedly to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed through the district court, state police said.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of DUI that occurred Saturday on Routes 286 and 219 in Burnside Township. Troopers conducted a traffic stop and determined that a Burnside man was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the hospital for a blood draw, which showed his BAC was above the legal limit. Charges have been filed through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of trespass that occurred Sunday on Mount Pleasant Road in Clover Township. Charges were filed against a Brookville man as a result, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Friday at the Wal-Mart store in Fox Township. During the incident, two Emporium residents allegedly concealed items and attempted to remove them from the store without paying. The total value of the items was $27.79, state police said, and charges are being filed through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a minor vehicle accident on South Front Street. According to the report, one vehicle crossed the centerline and struck another one traveling on the roadway. There was minor damage as a result, and both vehicles were driven from the scene, police said.
- Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Fire Department with a possible structure fire on Daisy Street. The fire was determined to be a malfunctioning furnace, police said.
- Police served a warrant on a male who held one through the department. It was subsequently paid in full, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft from a local business. During the incident, someone removed letters from an outdoor sign, according to the report.
- Police received a report about juveniles being on top of the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre building on East Locust Street.
- Police responded to East Market Street for a noise complaint. Further, police advised the people of the complaint and asked them to keep noise to a minimum.
- Police responded to an alarm at a residence and determined a contractor had set it off accidentally.
- Police received a report about a dog running lose on South Fifth Street. The complaint was referred to dog law, police said.
- Police responded to Richard Street for an alleged incident of criminal mischief in which actors threw eggs at a residence and a vehicle.

- Police received a report about a 911 hang-up call on Lawrence Avenue. Further, police found that a small child was playing with the phone.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred at Wal-Mart.
- Police recovered a wallet from the intersection of Daisy Street Extension and Woodland Road.
- Police assisted a motorist in the area of Montgomery Run Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications in the area of the Clearfield-Shawville Highway.
- Police received a report about a noise complaint at a motel along South Second Street. Upon arrival police asked the male to keep the noise down.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle on Route 879.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred on Montgomery Run Road. Upon arrival police spoke with the responsible party and notified them to keep noise to a minimum.

- Police are investigating a three-vehicle accident, which resulted in one fatality on Route 322 near Graham Station Road in Decatur Township. Police were assisted by the Hope, Reliance and Bigler-Jackson-Woodland fire companies, Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services, towing services, and state police and their forensic unit.
- Police spoke with people along Ashland Road about a barking dog complaint.
- Police arrested a male for allegedly having possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred at CVS. It remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle along Cowfer Road.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident that reportedly occurred at the Houtzdale Moose. However, police were unable to locate the vehicles and it was later determined the accident had occurred in Madera.
- Police responded to a vehicle lockout at Clearfield Bank & Trust.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call on Martin Road. Everything was found to be OK as it was an accidental call, police said.
- Police are investigating an alleged burglary that occurred at the Goodwill store in the Peebles Plaza. According to police, a Caucasian male entered the store by kicking in two doors and then removed approximately $140 in cash. He was described as having a thin build, wearing shorts and a muscle shirt. Anyone with information is asked to contact township police at 814-339-6775.
