HYDE – For the second day in a row, the Clearfield Area High School baseball and softball teams saw their games rained out.

Both were slated for District 9 Northern Allegany League Big School Division makeups against St. Marys Tuesday, the Bisons at home and the Lady Bisons on the road.

With District 9 Class AAA Playoffs in both sports on the horizon, there is a possibility that the postponements won’t be rescheduled.

Weather and field conditions permitting Wednesday, coach Sid Lansberry’s Bisons (8-8) will welcome Brookville to the Bison Sports Complex while coach Bob Dixon’s Lady Bisons (7-8) will travel to Brookville for D9NAL action.

Unless makeup games are booked for next week, the regular season will end Friday for both teams, the girls at home against Altoona and the boys at Altoona in non-league action.
