Police responded to an incident of harassment and disorderly conduct on May 13 at the Jefferson County and DuBois Area Vocational and Technical School. The incident involved a 17-year-old girl who hit a 14-year-old girl at the school. The 17-year-old girl was heard by staff making unreasonable noise and obscene language. The 17-year-old has been charged with summary offenses for harassment and disorderly conduct.
An incident of criminal mischief was reported in which someone smashed out a window on two vehicles owned by Thomas J. Gardner of in Brady Township. The incident happened sometime between April 24 and May 1. The vehicles are parked on a gas well road and had been previously damaged. The estimated damage to the two vehicles is $100.
