Marjorie M. Mattern, 84, of Clearfield died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016 at her home.
She was born April 19, 1932 in Shawville, the daughter of the late Emerson and Josephine (Godin) Kyler. On June 15, 1954, she married Robert O. Mattern, who died Aug. 14, 2003.
She was a member of Curwensville Alliance Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, camping, spending time with family and church.
She is survived by her three children, Teri and her husband, Douglas Wallace and James Mattern and his wife, Jennie Shaffer, all of Curwensville, and Tami and her husband, Gerald Reichard of Woodland.
She is survived by seven grandchildren, Tanya Kula and her husband, Kenneth of Clearfield, Aaron Wallace and his fiancée, Alyssa Ortiz of Fort Collins, Colo., Victoria Mattern of Philipsburg, Brittany Ross and her husband, Matthew of Fairplain, W.Va., and Jeremiah Johnson, Chase Johnson and Bo Johnson, all of Woodland.
She is also survived by five siblings, Arthur Kyler and his wife, Inge of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Dallas Ardary and her husband, Donald and Shirley Hile, both of Clearfield, Violet Confer and her husband, Phillip of Huntingdon and Daniel Kyler of Charlotte, NC.
Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m. -5 p.m. Sunday, at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Shields officiating. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery.
