Mary Ruth Bloomer, Age 89, of South Eight St., DuBois, PA died on May 08, 2010 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on Dec. 4, 1920 in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late William & Esther (Mitchell) Boley.
She was married to William H. Bloomer. He preceded her in death in 1973.
She was a 2nd Lieutenant in the U S Army Nurse Corps, serving during World War II.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing board games.
She is survived by a daughter (Gretchen L. Bloomer of Grampian, Pa) a brother (William Boley of Delmont, PA) 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, & an infant son.
There will be no public visitation.
A funeral service will be held on May 11 at 7 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Charles M. Lee, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in St. Claire Cemetery, Greensburg, PA.
