While most industrial sectors suffered losses during the Great Recession, the “clean and green” industry experienced a growth spurt, thanks to $92 billion in stimulus funds allocated for clean energy technologies in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Of those funds, about $21 billion went to renewable energy.
