Daniel Overbeck, 64, of Reynoldsville died Monday, July 11, 2016 at his home.
Born March 28, 1952 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Gerald and Blanche S. (Williams) Overbeck.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.
He was a contractor by trade. He was a member of the Independent, Political and Social Club.
He is survived by three children, Luella Overbeck and Gerald Overbeck, both of Reynoldsville, and Blanch Patterson of Sykesville.
He is also survived by a sister, Darlene Wiley of Columbia City, Ind.; a brother, Gordon Overbeck of DuBois; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel L. Overbeck.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at the Reynoldsville Free Methodist Church, located at 30 W. Main St., in Reynoldsville, with Pastor Jack Hartman officiating.
Military honors will be accorded by the members of the James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
