State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of assault/harassment that occurred Tuesday on Curtin Street in Osceola Mills Borough. During the incident, an adult female was allegedly involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical with a male juvenile when she grabbed him by the arm. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police investigated a Child Line report Tuesday, and it was determined to be unfounded.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report an incident of loitering and prowling at nighttime, harassment and criminal trespass that occurred Monday on Toby Road in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly repeatedly caused a disturbance by howling and yelling, which alarmed the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to West Front Street for debris on the roadway that was causing a traffic hazard.
- Police responded to East Locust Street to assist emergency personnel with a mental health patient. The patient was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for treatment, police said.
- Police assisted a motorist on Tyler Avenue who had locked their keys inside of their vehicle.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about child custody issues.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft from a business in Hyde.
- Police responded to assist a motorist.
Sandy Township
- Officers were called to Cayman Landing for a report about loud music Monday. The situation was handled without incident, police said.
- On Monday police received a report that a 26-year-old Berlin, Pa., man threw a basketball at a 14-year-old Leechburg, Pa., boy while they were playing on the court at Cayman Landing. The boy received a bruise under his eye and his glasses were broken, police said. The man agreed to pay for replacement of the glasses, and the parents did not wish to press charges.
- On Monday police received a report from a 58-year-old woman who stated that someone placed four nails in the driveway of her Treasure Lake home.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at an Arminta Street residence on Tuesday.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at CNB Bank on Tuesday.
- On Tuesday police reported that a vehicle was left in neutral in the Wal-Mart parking lot, causing it to drift into another vehicle and a cart rack, causing another vehicle to be damaged. No injuries were reported as a result, police said.
DuBois City
- On Monday police were dispatched to a business, located on the 200 block of Beaver Drive, for the report of an alarm activated inside of the building. Police searched the perimeter of the building and determined everything was OK.
- Police were dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of East DuBois Avenue for an alleged incident of criminal mischief on Monday. Â Upon arrival police found that the door leading to the common area of the apartment complex had been damaged. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police were dispatched to the intersection of Juniata Street and West Second Avenue for the report of a tree that had fallen across the roadway. Â Upon arrival police were able to move the tree out of the roadway with the assistance of residents in the area.
- On July 2 police took a male into custody who is a suspect in an alleged burglary that led police to 111 Spring Ave., on June 30. Â The male had a warrant out for his arrest from state parole and is currently incarcerated, police said.
