Gary W. Shick, 65, of Falls Creek died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born June 6, 1951 in Shreveport, La., he was the son of the late Robert Wayne Shick and Dolores (Sierzega) Shick.
He was an electrician by trade and was a route delivery salesman for DuBois Wholesale Products.
He was Catholic by faith. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially “The Mudhole.”
He is survived by three daughters, Jessica L. Nelen and her husband, Louis of Grampian and Melissa R. Shick and Kimberly M. Shick, both of DuBois; four brothers, Ronald Shick and his wife, Kim of Falls Creek, Joseph Shick and his wife, Jenny of Wishaw, Pa., and Stephen Shick and his wife, Michelle and Gregory Shick and his wife, Stephanie, all of DuBois; two sisters, Marilyn Knox and her husband, Jay of Rowayton, Conn., and Deborah Shick of Charlottesville, Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Shick and an infant brother, Robert M. Shick Jr.
There will be no public visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
