CLEARFIELD – The fourth annual Clearfield Bloom and Berry Bash will offer an array of foods, live entertainment and more in downtown Clearfield.
It will be hosted by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) on Saturday, June 25. Vendors will line the area of Market and Third streets, beginning at 10 a.m.
More than 90 artisans will feature work ranging from ceramics, fiber, wood, leather and metalwork to jewelry, glass, photography and mixed-media art pieces as well as an array of food to enjoy.
Live entertainment will be provided by Brandon Giuffre from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., The Moore Brothers from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. and then Innocent Sin from 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
In addition, the Clearfield Art Studio Theatre (CAST) Seeds of Art Summer Camp program will provide entertainment on Courthouse Square from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
The CRC will also host a Rubber Duck Derby in Lower Witmer Park at 1 p.m. Each rubber duck will race its way downriver to the finish line and carry a unique number corresponding to one of the purchased tickets.
Each ticket costs $5 and will earn the buyer one duck in the race.
The ducks are awaiting the chance to be the first across the finish line to win their ticket holder a first place prize of $300; a second place prize of $150; and a third place prize of $50.
Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Only 500 tickets will be sold for the derby.
A limited amount of souvenir rubber ducks will be given to the children at the race.
The Rubber Duck Derby is sponsored by Batcho Business Solutions, Bee Kind Winery, Scotto’s Pizzeria, Westside Distributing and Wal-Mart Supercenter.
