Daniel L. Brickley, 55, currently of Florida, originally of Clearfield, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Williams Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Fla.
Born Oct. 19, 1960 in Clearfield, Â he was a son of John F. Brickley and Janet L. (Luzier) Brickley.
He had worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources as a waterways engineering inspector. He also had worked as a carpenter.
While working at DRNA, he became close friends with many of his co-workers. He was Presbyterian by faith.
He enjoyed fishing in the Florida Everglades, riding his all-terrain vehicle and hunting back home in Pennsylvania.
He loved being home with his family for holidays and birthdays and will be missed by all.
His survivors include a brother, Greg Brickley and his wife, Sandy of Clearfield; three nieces; two nephews; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet L. (Luzier) Brickley and a brother, J. Douglas Brickley.
Friends will be received for a time of remembrance from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc.
Memorial services will be private. Burial will be at Fruit Hill Cemetery.
