DUBOIS – Students at DuBois Central Catholic Elementary School have enjoyed using technology as a teaching tool for many years.
However, students in grades pre-school through fifth grade reached additional goals this year with the advent of curriculum-based instruction through a ‘designated technology instructor.’
Sarah Winslow (standing) gives guidance on the proper use of Microsoft Word to a student.
Fellow classmates remain focused on their projects, as Winslow stops to give encouragement to each student in this third grade section.
Winslow, who has certification in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartboard, believes early technology instruction is key to giving students at DCC a greater advantage in their over-all education.
