RAMEY – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the recipients of the CNB Bank Scholarship, which included Laura Kohute, a local student from Moshannon Valley High School.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and Superintendent’s Leadership Council.
She is the District Comprehensive Planning Committee’s student representative and is on distinguished honor roll
Kohute is a member of the marching band, concert band, History Club and Drama Club and serves as the co-editor for her school’s yearbook.
She will be attending Mansfield University majoring in graphic design with a concentration in print media.

In February, graduating high school seniors were invited to apply for the scholarship contest, which awarded each recipient with $500 to be used for continuing business education.
In total, 21 students from high schools in the CNB market area were selected as winners.
