CLEARFIELD – District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week.
Shaw identified the fugitive as Keith Parlor, 24, of Lord Street, DuBois. Parlor is wanted for failure to appear at a preliminary hearing May 20.
On April 18 Officer Scott Johnson of the Sandy Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint against Parlor. He charged Parlor with retail theft, M2; theft by deception, M2; and criminal trespass, M3.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on March 16 Johnson was assigned to investigate the report of a retail theft that occurred at a local business. Upon arrival at the scene, Johnson met with store personnel.
Store personnel provided information and surveillance video from the incident in which Parlor was allegedly observed concealing electronic devices on his person and then removing the items from the business.
Parlor is then observed returning to the store later the same day and allegedly exchanging the stolen items for a gift card. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Parlor had previously signed a trespass notice due to a prior incident.
A preliminary hearing was held May 20, at which time Parlor failed to appear, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Parlor is described as a Caucasian male standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with knowledge of Parlor’s location is asked to call Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at 800-376-4700. All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.
