Wallace G. Weber, 79, of Greenville Pike went to join his beloved wife, Marilyn, on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Curwensville.
Mr. Weber was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Lumber City, the son of Cleo and Ruth (Korb) Weber.
He retired from Bell Telephone after 31 years of service. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and had been a forest fire warden.
He was a passionate hunter, avid outdoorsman, gardener and wood craftsman.
Mr. Weber is survived by five children, Christa Kerr and her husband, Dave of DuBois, Karen Renfro and her husband, Samuel of Williamsburg, Kan., Barbara Veydt and her husband, D. Eric of Cecil, Brenda Weber of Grampian and Timothy Weber and his wife, Deborah of Earlysville, Va., 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Alice Clark of Greenville Pike.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marilyn D. (Stoke) Weber, who died July 7, 2013 and to whom he was married July 6; 1956; and a brother, E. Allen Weber.
Friends will be received from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Monday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
