Margaret Grenier, 100, of DuBois and formerly of Alden, NY died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Aug. 11, 1915 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Davis) Kerpatrick.
Mrs. Grenier was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress. She also worked in the Public Library System in New York. She was Protestant by faith and loved to sew and garden.
She married Leo H. Grenier, who preceded her in death in 1976.
Mrs. Grenier is survived by two sons, Gregory Grenier and his wife, Allegra of Punxsutawney and Philip Grenier and his wife, Sandra of Cameron, Mo.; two sisters, Jean Winters of Middleport, NY and Doris Karison of Lockport, NY; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Grenier was preceded in death by a son, Leo F. Grenier and nine siblings.
At Mrs. Grenier’s request, there will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Tanner Cemetery, Ridgway, NY.
