Frank Richard Yarger, 76 of Sanborn, Houtzdale RD, passed away on April 5, 2010 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
He was born on Nov. 4, 1933 in Woodward Twp., the son of the late Clarence “Jack” & Laura (Lowe) Yarger.
On Sept. 7, 1957 in Ramey, he married Eleanor Mae (Luciano) Yarger, who died June 12, 1990.
He is survived by children Irene Lambert and her husband Christopher of Colorado Springs, CO, Eileen Ball and her husband William of Madera, Randal Yarger and his wife Lana of Clearfield, Rhonda Johnson and her husband Matt of Lewisburg, NC, Rodney Yarger and his wife Robin of Wallaceton, Linda Exley of Wake Forest, NC, Rick Yarger and his wife Vicky of Glen Hope, Marcia Shirey and her husband Ray of Osceola Mills, Jenny Kopchik and her husband Dave of Morrisdale, Judy Caldana and her husband Anthony of Snow Shoe, and Clark “Hoss” Yarger of Sanborn; siblings Walter Yarger of Lock Haven, Clark Yarger of Sanborn, Truman Yarger of New Columbia, James Yarger of Reading, Donna Bush of West Decatur, Velma Pedmo of Sanborn, Connie Regal of Centre Hall, Elsie Stiner of Copper Center, Alaska and 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother LeRoy Yarger and sister Irene Yarger.
He retired after 38 years of service from Clearfield Cheese, where he was a refrigerator & air conditioner mechanic.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was an Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home, Inc., Houtzdale, PA with Rev. Brian Vineyard officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Brisbin Cemetery, Brisbin.
At Mr. Yarger’s request, there will be no public viewing.
