Frederick E. “Bucky” Seaburn, 87, of Hepburnia died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born July 12, 1928 in Curwensville, he was the son of Lewis and Bertha (Rittmyer) Seaburn. Mr. Seaburn was a self-employed carpenter, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Protestant by faith.
On Jan. 22, 1949 in Hagerstown, Md., he wed the former Lois E. Knepp, who survives, along with two daughters, Sharon Lockhart and her husband, Jerry of Fairmount, Ill., and Sharlet Nestlerode and her husband, Pat of Grampian.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two brothers and three sisters, Lewis Seaburn of Colorado, Julia Shaffer and her husband, Lester of Clearfield, Jane Hoover and her husband, Richard and Richard Seaburn and his wife, Janet, both of Curwensville, and Barbara Seaburn of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Sheila Seaburn and Shelly McGee, infant daughter, two brothers, Donald and Thomas and two sisters, Geraldine Condon and Anna Lou Briskar.
There will be no public visitation.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
