CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation would like to inform the public that bridge work is underway on state Route 453 in Boardman and that there are self-regulating stop signs in place. The bridge, which spans Potts Run, is undergoing repair and preservation work.Â
The work requires lane restrictions and a self-regulating stop sign is in place at either end of the bridge. PennDOT expects work on the bridge to run until the end of April, weather permitting.
The work is part of $2.2 million bridge preservation contract to repair seven bridges in Clearfield and Potter Counties. Swank Associated Companies of New Kensington is the contractor on the job.
PennDOT wants to remind drivers they can log on to www.511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
