CLEARFIELD – Every year the Downtown Clearfield Lighting Committee makes the annual holiday decorating of downtown Clearfield happen.
This year they exceeded their expectation of replacing half of the bulbs with the new lights. But it is not just about the decorations, it is about the community pulling together for the good of our town. Volunteers of the Army National Guard Alpha 128 assisted the Downtown Clearfield Lighting Committee this past weekend and were treated to breakfast by Spanky’s Courthouse Cafe and Little Pine Resources. A special thank you was also sent out to the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department for faithfully helping install the snowflakes every year and to Brett Owens, Richard Hinkle, Ed Anderson and Bob Rishel for their time and extra efforts in assisting in the event.
