- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between Oct. 1, 2015 and Sunday in a wooded area of Rock Lane in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly went into the wooded area and proceeded to remove a well cover. They also allegedly dropped boards down the well. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police are investigating the death of a Philipsburg man that occurred Sunday at an East Spruce Street residence in Philipsburg Borough. He was reportedly found deceased at his residence, and preliminary investigation indicate it is from natural causes due to ongoing health issues. State police said their death investigation is pending an autopsy to be performed at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
State police at PunxsutawneyÂ
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment/prohibited offensive weapons Feb. 7 on Alliance Drive in Young Township. During the incident, a male and female allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. Upon investigation state police allegedly found the male had a prohibited offensive weapon. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal trespass/harassment that occurred Monday on Brandy Camp Road in Fox Township. During the incident, a St. Marys man allegedly entered the victim’s property and was verbally advised by her and state police he was not permitted to. The man allegedly refused to leave when requested by the victim and committed an act of harassment by alarming and annoying her to fear for her safety, state police said. Charges are to be filed against the man as a result of the incident.
