William G. ‘Billford’ Stevens, 57, of Woodland and formerly of Huntington, Long Island, NY, died on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016.
He was born Oct. 8, 1958 in Clearfield, a son of the late Clair William and Marie (Pohl) Stevens.
He drove truck all of his life and most currently with LJF Trucking, Irvona. He also loved his motorcycles and watching NASCAR and Dirt-Track racing.
He would always be found hanging with his family and friends and will certainly be missed by his dog, Toots.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Bumbarger) Stevens, to whom he was wed June 13, 2015.
He is survived by five step-children, Desarae James and her companion, Adam Kanuff of Curwensville, Sabrina Bloom and her husband, Kyle of Clearfield, Sherri James and her companion, Nicholis Kennedy of Philipsburg, Brandie Pritz of West Decatur and Braden Pritz of Woodland.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, Henry, Azen, Riley, Justin, Khendyl and Brody and a brother, Clair ‘Dick’ Stevens of Long Island, NY.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana L. (Maines) Stevens; a daughter, Ashelynn Marie Stevens; and a grandson, Holden.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. Brenda K. Libreatori officiating.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
