CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners have announced they are soliciting requests for qualifications to select professional organizations to provide various forms of housing programs and projects in the county.
This request will act to fulfill two, separate qualifications for two housing programs in Clearfield County.
- Clearfield County Housing Assistance Program (HAP): This funding is received from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services annually. It is typically used as rental assistance funding for consumers needing help paying rent.
- Clearfield County 2015 PHARE Rental Housing Rehab Program: This program receives funding from Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency Act 13 Funds. It is available to develop affordable housing units out of structurally-sound vacant and or blighted structures.
Potential applicants include not-for-profit organizations, housing and human service providers, private organizations and developers.

Responses to this RFQ should be submitted no later than Feb. 26. Request for Proposals of the HAP and PHARE programs will be sent to organizations and developers as qualifications are met.
