Benjamin F. Carr, 70, of Clearfield died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 at
Penn Highlands DuBois.
Mr. Carr was born July 28, 1945 in Clearfield, the son of Benjamin F. Carr Sr. and Laura M. (McDermott) Carr.
He had worked for Johnson Machine Company of Clearfield until his retirement.
Mr. Carr was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield.
He had belonged to the Knights of Columbus and was an avid car enthusiast.
He is survived by two sisters, Kitty Keirn and her husband, Jim of Clearfield and
Lynne Brubaker and her husband, Brian of Tylersburg; a brother, Steve Carr and
his wife, Faith of Frankford, MO; three nieces; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home with Father John Miller III officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
