CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation issued the following update for the Route 219, Elk County/Johnsonburg Bypass project.
• Project activities will now shift into winter operations with work activities not affecting traffic.
• Regular, weekly updates will resume in March 2009.
• Although winter work will not impact traffic, any work on the project is weather and schedule dependent.

Contractor on the $32 million project is Swank and Associated Companies.
