Harold Lee Smith, 58, of Clearfield, passed away on March 20 at his residence.
Mr. Smith was born Oct. 29, 1952 in Clearfield, a son of Oscar Lee Smith of Clearfield and the late Georgia May (Maney) Smith.
He was employed by the Riverside Market division of Penn Traffic in DuBois, Montgomery Ward, Sears, and most recently by Appalachian Wood Products, Clearfield.
Mr. Smith attended the Pennsylvania State University and culinary school at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport.
He was a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
He had a love for music, playing piano and guitar. He also loved astronomy.
Mr. Smith is survived by two sisters, Cathy “Catie” Smith Wylie and her husband, Bryce, of Advance, NC, and Barbara Ellen Wickemeyer and her husband, James, of Cincinnati, Ohio; also three nieces, three nephews, four great-nephews and three great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at Centre Cemetery.
