KANE — Andrew Bucheit poured in 27 points and two teammates also reached double figures as Kane outscored Curwensville in every quarter en route to a 67-45 victory in an Allegheny Mountain League schoolboy crossover game Friday night.
Shane Rollick and Chris Udovich added 13 and 11 points, respectively, for the 2-1 Wolves, who owned a 37-25 lead at intermission.
Junior Zach Marshall tallied a career-high 17 points in the winless Golden Tide’s sixth setback.
“Marshall stepped up as a leader for us, and that was good to see,” Curwensville coach Shane Pentz said. “Avery Francisco, for a freshman, played really well, too.”
In the prelim, Devan Barrett scored 15 points for the Golden Tide jayvees, who came out on the short end of a 44-36 final.
