Frank A. Lanich, 63, of Curwensville, passed away on March 18 at the Clearfield Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 10, 1946 in Clearfield, he was the son of Clair and Alma (Blake) Lanich. He was retired as an auto body technician for the former Ross Buick in Clearfield. He had attended the former Bloomington United Methodist Church and was active in the bowling leagues at the Clearfield Bowling Lanes. He also had served in the U S Army Reserves.
He wed the former Beverly Price on Aug. 27, 1971 in Glen Richey, who survives along with a daughter Chris M. Lanich of Curwensville and a granddaughter Jenna A. White at home.
Also surviving are 3 brothers and a sister. Edward Lanich and his wife Cindy of Goshen, Bruce Lanich and his wife Bernice of Clearfield, Theodore Lanich and his wife Emogene of Bigler, and Frances Hirsch and her husband Raymond of Mt. Joy as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Clair Lanich.
At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
