The Bisons closed out their final regular season home game of the year with a monster victory over the Elkers of Ridgway. Entering the game the Bisons were one shy of their first 20 win season in a decade, and with a 70-25 victory they picked up that milestone.
The Bisons struggled shooting somewhat in the first quarter but still managed to finish the period on a 6-0 run and go up 17-9 at the end of the quarter.
In the second quarter the Bisons quickly pulled away from the Elkers going on an 18-0 run and holding Ridgway to only three points in the quarter. At the intermission the Bisons found themselves up up 38-12 after a 3-pointer by Jeremy Priester at the buzzer.
Clearfield came out just as hot in the second half with Parker Herrington netting 10 of his game high 18 points in the quarter. With just over a minute remaining in the period the Mercy Rule was enforced. At the end of the third quarter the Bisons lead had increased to 42 at 59-17.
The fourth quarter was not as high of an output for the Bisons as they only outscored Ridgeway by three in the quarter, but it was too little too late for the Elkers as Clearfield came away with the 45 point victory.
Clearfields Big 3 of Campman (10), Shiner (17), Herrington (18) combined to outscore the Elkers by 20 points themselves.
