State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of access device fraud Wednesday from Scaife Auto in Chester Hill Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly purchased tires from the victim and paid with a stolen credit card. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal trespass/theft that occurred Nov. 28 at the Rathmel Run Game and Bird Hunting Refuge in Winslow Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the refuge and cut the fence. They allegedly proceeded to remove a deer. - State police received a report about an alleged indecent assault that occurred at an unknown date and time within Union Township. It allegedly involved a known juvenile. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an accident that occurred Wednesday on DuBois-Rockton Road in Brady Township. John Yebernetsky of DuBois was traveling south when he hit a patch of ice on the roadway and lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle began to spin in a counter-clockwise rotation; when its rear tires hit gravel on the shoulder his vehicle overturned. It overturned an unknown amount of times and came to a final rest on its wheels in the ditch off the right side of the roadway. The Yebernetsky vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Yebernetsky was wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries, state police said. State police were assisted by the Brady and Union Township fire departments, DuSan Ambulance and the Brady Township Ambulance Service.
- State police received a report about an accident Wednesday on the DuBois-Rockton Road in Union Township. Garrett M. France of DuBois was traveling north and attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve. His vehicle hit a patch of ice and traveled off the roadway. He re-entered the roadway, at which point his vehicle began to spin. It rotated counter-clockwise across the roadway and impacted a cement culvert with its right door. Upon impact his vehicle struck two mailboxes and it slid through a yard before coming to a rest. France’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene; no injuries were reported as a result of the accident, state police said.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police investigated an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Nov. 21 on Route 36 in Punxsutawney Borough. Further, a Walston man was allegedly stopped for a traffic violation and determined to be under the influence. Charges were filed as a result through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred sometime between May 1 and June 8 at an RES Coal mining site along North Camp Road in Chest Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole 2,263 gallons of diesel fuel from the mine site. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
Lawrence Township
- Police assisted Clearfield Ambulance personnel with an unconscious person. The person was taken to the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital, police said.
- Police received a report about a male who was sleeping inside a vehicle. Police checked on the male and determined he didn’t have any medical issues.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft of hunting equipment from private property.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft of diesel fuel from trucks parked at Hunter Peterbilt. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged retail theft that occurred at the Dollar General and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.
- Police responded to an alarm along South Second Street. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK at the business.
Decatur Township
- Police received a report about an alleged reckless driver on Coal Run Road. However, the vehicle was gone prior to police arrival.
- Police responded to Route 153 for a deer that was struck on the roadway. No injuries were reported in the accident, police said. Police were assisted by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic incident on Hudson Street. Those involved agreed to remain separated until they could find a ride home, police said.
- Police responded to a vehicle lockout at Kwik Fill in Philipsburg. Police were able to unlock the vehicle for its owner.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hannah and Brisbin streets. Two people were transported by ambulance to the hospital, police said.
- Police responded to New Liberty Road after a vehicle accident. Upon investigation police found the operator was driving without a license, and he claimed his vehicle was struck by a passing Toyota car. He told police the suspect car was driven by a male with shoulder-length blonde hair.
- Police arrested a female for an alleged incident of retail theft. During the incident, she allegedly stole items from the Dollar General Store on Walton Street.
- Police responded to an activated hold-up alarm at Kwik Fill in Philipsburg. Upon arrival police found that it was accidentally set off.
- Police are investigating an incident in which two Decatur Township residents allegedly left numerous drug paraphernalia items upon leaving their residence.
- Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Six Mile Road. Further, a female lost control of her vehicle and upon investigation by police was allegedly found to be under the influence. She was also allegedly found with drug paraphernalia items on her person.
