HYDE – Again Monday, the Clearfield Area High School baseball and softball teams were practicing instead of playing District 9 Northern Allegany League Big School Division games.
Those rainouts against Punxsutawney have been rescheduled along with last Thursday\’s postponements against St. Marys, athletic director Jon Mikesell announced.
The Bisons (5-5) will host Punxsy Thursday, May 7 and St. Marys on Thursday, May 14.
Both games will start at 4 p.m. instead of the usual 4:30.
Clearfield is scheduled to play Brookville at the Bison Sports Complex Tuesday and travel to St. Marys Wednesday for D9NAL games.
The Lady Bisons (2-8) are booked for an 11 a.m. game at Punxsutawney on Saturday, May 16, and a 4:15 game at St. Marys on Monday, May 18.
They still have four games on tap this week, Tuesday at Brookville, Wednesday at home against St. Marys, Thursday at home against Williamsport and Friday at Bellefonte.
