Elizabeth J. “Betty” Felix, 87, of Osceola Mills died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at her home.
Born Dec. 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine (O’Farrell) Penny.
She married Andrew J. Felix Sr. on May 14, 1949 in Philipsburg. He survives at home.
Mrs. Felix was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills.
She was retired from Penn State University in the physical plant. She was a 1946 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and visiting the casinos.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Andrew J. Felix Jr.; five sisters, Catherine Penny, Margaret Colton, Sarah Socash, Harriet Cowfer and Ann Pollick; and an infant son.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Felix is survived by a sister, Delores (Dolly) Cowfer of Osceola Mills and a daughter-in-law, Linda L. Felix of State College.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Father Robert J. Horgas officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends and family will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Heath Funeral Home.
The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 Monday at the funeral home.
