Camp Sandstone
Every time a person stays at Camp Sandstone in 2015, they receive a chance to win one free night stay in 2016. At the end of the year, the staff members will draw one name. The annual lighting of the city’s Christmas tree will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 at the DuBois City Park. Activities will include pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Christmas carols, a Christmas craft and cards for the troops.
The Performing Hearts Concert
Treasure Lake Church
The annual Performing Hearts Concert will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 at the Treasure Lake Church. It supports the work of the Haven House Shelter in DuBois. It is the single-most important fundraising event for the Haven House. Tickets are $12 per person and $6 for children who are 12 years and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Haven House or the DuBois Chamber Office.

The DuBois Area Jaycees’ annual lottery will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Luigi’s Villa, DuBois. Doors will open at 6 p.m.; the drawing will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 per couple and include dinner, beverages and entrance to the lottery. Additional activities will include a 50/50 drawing, basket raffle and large prize drawings. All proceeds will stay in the local community.
