State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged theft incident that occurred Nov. 1 on Banion Road in Bigler Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a snow plow assembly and wiring harness from the victim’s truck. State police are continuing their investigation of the incident.
- State police received a report about an alleged theft incident that occurred Nov. 2 on Banion Road in Bigler Township. During the incident, someone allegedly obtained the victim’s ATM card and used it at several locations. State police are continuing their investigation of the incident.
State police at DuBois
- State police have initiated an investigation into an alleged incident of sexual assault that occurred Oct. 10 at a Morris Road residence in Washington Township. It allegedly involved a 19-year-old Brockway male suspect and the victim, a 14-year-old girl.
- State police received a report about an alleged theft from a motor vehicle that occurred sometime Nov. 5-9 along Route 28 in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly smashed out the rear windshield of the victim’s 1998 Cadillac Deville and then removed the expired 2014 registration plate. They also allegedly removed a Cadillac symbol from the body of the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to an alleged dispute between a male and female. Police found that there was an argument over the male leaving the residence. Neither party wanted to pursue charges, police said.
- Police responded to South Second Street for a 911 hang-up call. Police spoke to a male at the scene who advised he must have accidentally dialed it. There weren’t any signs of distress observed by police.
- Police arrested a female for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after police allegedly encountered a vehicle parked at the Clearfield Driving Park. Police also allegedly located illegal substances inside the vehicle.
- Police responded to East Sixth Street for a report about an alleged suspicions individual with a BB gun.
- Police handled a mental health incident that was reported on East Seventh Street.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged illegal contraband incident at the Clearfield County Jail. During the incident, a 31-year-old man allegedly took an illegal substance into the jail. Police are continuing their investigation with charges pending at this time.
- Police responded to the Sapp Bros. Travel Center for an alleged incident of criminal mischief. Police are continuing their investigation of the incident.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the Family Dollar Store. No injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged suspicious female who was knocking on doors in the Hyde area. However, police were unable to locate the female upon a search of the area.
- Police removed a traffic hazard along White Church Road.
