Drifton — The Old Town Softball League (OTSL) of Clearfield will be well represented at the Class C Level 1 state championship tournament July 12 and 13 in Drifton.
Jim\’s Sports Center will be the District 8 representative, while Buster\’s earned their spot in the tourney by placing third at the York state qualifying tournament earlier this summer.
By the \”luck of the draw\”, the two Clearfield teams will face-off against each other Saturday at 8:00 AM.
The winner will advance in the 18-team tournament to play Landis Market at 11:30.
Notes:
Last year\’s Class C state champions, Marysville, have been moved up in classification and will not be back to defend their title. Buster\’s was state runner-up in 2006, after a fourth place finish in 2005. Buster\’s made it to the final 8 last year.
