CURWENSVILLE – Clearfield Area United Way campaign team member Kay Dell’Antonio recently delivered books as part of the Reading Ripples Project to St. Timothy’s Pre-School Director Jill Test as part of the Make A Difference Day.
“It is when volunteers unite to improve the lives of others. Gently-used books are collected for ‘Reading Ripples,’ coordinated, processed and distributed. United Way’s Fall Campaign is going on now, and there are 24 local member agencies throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County, which benefit from CAUW funds,” stated Dell’Antonio.
“Helping United Way helps so many other important agencies, which touch lives from infants to the elderly. Tax deductible donations can be made to CAUW, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. Information is available at clearfieldareaunitedway.org or by calling 814-765-6521.”
