State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary, theft and criminal mischief that occurred sometime Oct. 19-20 at a Spruce Street residence in Bigler Township. During the incident, a 22-year-old Osceola Mills man allegedly cut four tires on the victim’s sports utility vehicle and took a dog from her residence. The dog, according to state police, was recovered from a residence in Morrisdale and returned to the victim. Damage to the SUV is estimated at $600; state police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between Oct. 20 and Oct. 26 at the Luthersburg-Union Cemetery in Brady Township. During the incident, someone allegedly operated a vehicle through an open lawn area, causing damage to the grass.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to South Fifth Street for an alleged dispute between neighbors over a parking spot.
- Police responded to an apartment along Reed Street for an alleged noise complaint.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a report about a disabled coal truck in the area of the Hyde light.
- Police received a report about a cell phone that was possibly stolen.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred on the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle, non-reportable accident that occurred in the area of River and High Level roads.
Sandy Township
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Taco Bell on Friday.
- A vehicle driven by a 90-year-old Latrobe man was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle that was stopped for traffic Friday on the Blinker Parkway near Dairy Queen. That vehicle then hit the one in front of it. A passenger in the first vehicle was taken to Penn Highlands for evaluation, police said.
- A vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Brockway man was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Clearfield woman that was stopped in traffic on Friday. No injuries were reported, and the vehicles were driven from the scene, police said.
- On Friday a 56-year-old Hungry Hollow Road resident reported that someone in a Jeep had been driving through her property. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at the Falls Creek Eagles on Sunday.
