CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Elks Lodge will hold a dinner to present the proceeds of this year’s High Country Arts Fair to about two dozen deserving local organizations.
Each year in July, the Elks Lodge holds the arts fair at S.B. Elliott State Park. Because the event is held at a publicly-owned venue, all proceeds must be shared with various non-profits and charities.
This year’s event was the Elks’ 27th, and it attracted a crowd estimated at 13,000 persons.
Those who attended the fair were afforded the chance to shop at about 140 arts and craft stands, sample a number of the Elks’ home-made entrees and spend a day at the park while being entertained by several local musical groups.
