CLEARFIELD – A memorial ceremony honored service men and women and remembered the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America 14 years ago today.
After a bell had rung four times, the county’s memorial flag was raised during the ceremony by Commissioners John A. Sobel and Mark B. McCracken. It will fly today at half-staff.
A memorial wreath of red, white and blue carnations was also presented and placed before the Sept. 11 memorial stone at the Clearfield County Courthouse.
