CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Career and Technology Center Adult Cosmetology Class will sponsor a Prom Fashion/Hair Show on March 25 at the school’s multipurpose room as a community service project. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show is from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Cost to get in is a donation of money or a prom gown. All proceeds benefit the Prom Closet.
Local businesses have donated numerous door prizes and gifts, including jewelry, tanning and hair packages from local salons, gift certificates from local restaurants, free prom tickets to area high schools, and much more. Refreshments will be provided by the Culinary Arts Department.
Attendees are encouraged to come early to register for door prizes and the Chinese auction. According to Mrs. Gmerek, Adult Cosmetology instructor, “The best part of the night is if a young lady finds a dress she likes, she can take it home that night, and it’s FREE.”
