CLEARFIELD – The 74th class of the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center’s (CCCTC) Practical Nursing Program graduated 27 students on July 24.
Dr. Lanny Ross, CCCTC director, welcomed the audience to the event. Cheryl Krieg, Nursing Program director, introduced the Commencement speaker, Tonya Saggese, nursing instructor.
Diplomas were awarded by Ross. Graduates were presented for graduation by Shannon Weymer, nursing instructor, and nursing pins were awarded by Alene Homan, nursing instructor.
Academic awards were presented to the two students with the highest grade point averages in the class, Jamila Cohen and Leha Hansen. Certificates of perfect attendance were awarded to Lisa Kephart and Carrissa Trump.
Five graduates were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS): Marlena Bell, Lorelei Bowery, Jamila Cohen, Kelley Miller and Rebecca Sheeder, by Mary Ann Rafferty, CCCTC NTHS representative.
Alene Homan, nursing instructor, led the graduates in reciting the Practical Nursing Pledge.  Jennifer Esposti provided the farewell address.

The nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. and Pennsylvania Department of Education and approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
